There is just nothing like the ultra close, side by side racing that is almost guaranteed with these car/motor combinations! And we'll offer it up for you whether you are young, advancing your racing skills, or an old Pro.

New for 2009...

Can-Am racers may run either the traditional Champion Turbo Flex Car or a Retro CanAm car conforming to IRRA rules. (The IRRA rules can be found at Slotblog on the D3 listing)

Any production chassis may be used in the Amateur GT and the Intnational 32 classes

Expert GT - 103 grams

International 32 - 90 grams

Amateur Vintage GT and International 32 - Slick7 S7588 or Jk Falcon but not the Falcon 7

Expert Vintage GT - JK Falcon 7

Can Am - JK Falcon 7, TSR-D3, or Pro Slot mini motor 4002B with puppy dog arm

Classes....

Amateur: For drivers who are not yet ready to "run with the big dogs" $8.00 entry fee

Expert: Expert class is open to all* some of the best racers in the region will compete* $10.00 entry fee

Can Am: Open to all drivers... 5 races $10.00 entry fee

International 32: Open to all drivers* $10.00 entry fee

Indy Car: Open to all drivers * using Badgerland rules. $10.00 entry fee

Concours awards at each race!

At season end, trophies are awarded to the top finishers in each category.

1/24th Scale Vintage Rules

Chassis:     Can Am and Amateur GT Classes must use Champion Turbo Flex chassis with Steel pans. Production chassis from any manufacturer may be used in the Expert GT class. No cutting, bending, or modifying the chassis except… the motor mounting bracket may be removed. A "U" shaped brace may be used to reinforce the rear uprights. Pin tube body mounts may be added. May solder axle bushings to chassis uprights. Lead weights may be added. The guide tongue may be reinforced. Must use oilite bushings.

Motor:     Must use a completely stock JK Falcon motor.

Gears:     Must use an 11-tooth straight or angle pinion. Must us a PSE 38-tooth spur.

Wheels:     Fronts must be a metal wheel with a rubber tire. Minimum .500" diameter. Any rear tires may be used but may not exceed .800" diameter.

Axle:     Must use a solid steel rear axle…. No hollow or lightweight axles allowed. Front axle must be .055" or .063" piano wire. Front axle may be soldered to the chassis and may be bent.

Clearance: Minimum .047” front and .063” (1/16) rear.

Bodies:     Scale appearing Vintage bodies from any manufacturer may be used. (GT cars are those with a top … closed cockpit). Bodies must be suitably painted, with clear windows, clear front wheel wells, have 3 numbers, and a full 3-dimensional interior.

Weight: Expert GT minimum weight 103 grams

International 1/32th Scale Rules

Chassis:     May use any production 1/32 chassis. May remove motor mounting bracket and minor trimming of pans for motor clearance. Pin tube body mounts may be added. May solder axle bushings to chassis uprights. Lead weights may be added. The guide tongue may be reinforced. Must use oilite bushings.

Motor:     Must us a completely stock JK Falcon Motor 5 or less, or Slick 7 Motor.

Gears:     May use any gears.

Wheels:     Fronts must be a metal wheel with a rubber tire. Minimum .500" diameter. Any rear tires may be used.

Axle:     Must us a solid steel rear axle…. No hollow or lightweight axles allowed. Front axle must be .055" or .063" piano wire.

Width:     Maximum tread width (track) 2.520 inches for front and rear wheels.

Clearance:     Minimum .047” at rear of chassis and gear. Front clearance must be .032" minimum.

Bodies:     May use any 1/32-scale sports or GT body. (No "ultimate" or wing bodies). Must be suitably painted with clear windows, front wheel wells, have 3 numbers, and a full 3-dimensional interior. Examples: Parma Intrepid, JK BMW V12 LMR

Weight: Minimum weight 90 grams

BadgerLand INDY CLASS 2008-2009

Chassis:

STOCK/MODIFIED FLEXI TYPE.
STOCK/MODIFIED STEEL TYPE
COMPLETE SCRATCH BUILT
INLINE CHASSIS WILL BE ALLOWED (LOWEST GEAR RATIO ALLOWED IS 3.18 TO 1)
EXAMPLE: 9 TOOTH PINION WITH 30T JK #5030 GREEN GEAR EQUALS 3.33 TO 1 RATIO

ALL CHASSIS

1) CHASSIS MATERIALS:

BRASS: SHEET, ROD AND TUBE
STEEL: WIRE, PIN TUBING AND QUIDE TONGUES
STAINLESS STEEL TONGUES CUT OFF FROM CENTER SECTIONS OF FLEXI CHASSIS.
THEY CANNOT BE CUT OFF ANY FURTHER BACK THAN 3/8” BEHIND THE FRONT AXLE.
STEEL WISHBONES/GUIDES FROM EXISTING AVAILABLE STEEL CHASSIS ARE ALLOWED.
(JK, KELLY, MOSSETTI, ETC)

2) NO PART OF THE CHASSIS INCLUDING GUIDE FLAG MAY BE VISIBLE FROM A TOP VIEW.
THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS THE FRONT AXLE AND SCALE SIZED WISHBONES.

3) THE BODY MUST BE TRIMED TO THE MOLDED BODY INTENDED SHAPE OF THE CAR

4) FRONT MOUNTED GUIDE FLAG IS THE ONLY PART THAT ENTERS THE TRACK SLOT

5) MAXIMUM WIDTH OF THE CHASSIS PANS IS 2.40 INCHES.

6) HINGED PAN MOVEMENT IS ALLOWED.

7) FLOATING PIN TUBES ARE ALLOWED.

8) IF IT IS NOT COVERED, IT IS NOT LEGAL.
THE BADGERLAND SERIES HAS THE RIGHT TO DISALLOW ANY CAR AT TECH,
WHICH DOES NOT MEET THE INTENT OF THE RULES.

ANY OILITE BEARINGS ARE ALLOWED INCLUDING SLICK 7 AND OFFSET BEARINGS. (NOTE: REAR TIRE SIZE REQUIREMENTS)
REAR UPRIGHT MAY BE REINFORCED USING “U” SHAPED PIANO WIRE OR SLICK 7’S S7-390 BRACE..
MOTOR BRACE MAY BE TRIMMED DOWN OR REMOVED.
FLOATING PIN TUBES ARE ALLOWED.
LEAD WEIGHT MAY BE ADDED.
.047 CLEARANCE AT REAR INCLUDING GEAR. (FRONT NO TECH)

NOTE: THE RACE DIRECTOR WILL BLACK FLAG ANY CAR DRAGGING ON THE TRACK.

3/32 (.09375) REAR AXLES.
SOLID STEEL AXLES ONLY. (NO HOLLOW OR LIGHT WEIGHT MATERIALS ALLOWED)
FRONT AXLE MAY BE SOLDERED TO THE CHASSIS.
FRONT WHEELS MAY ROTATE INDEPENDENTLY.
FRONT WHEELS MUST TOUCH AND ROLL IN THE CORNERS.
FRONT WHEELS ARE .620 MIN. DIAMETER AND .250 MIN. WIDTH.
FRONT WHEELS MUST HAVE METALLIC HUBS AND BLACK TIRE MATERIAL.
REAR WHEELS MUST BE BLACK WITH .750 MINIMUM AND .790 MAXIMUM DIAMETERS.
REAR TIRES WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM WIDTH OF .810”.

LEAD WIRES

LEAD WIRES MAY BE CHANGED.
MAGNET WIRE OR MAGNET TYPE WIRE IS NOT ALLOWED.
GUIDE CLIPS ARE ALLOWED.
